PROJECTS
LEVITTOWN HOUSE Completed 2006
The focus of this design was the expansion of the existing living room to create a gathering space for when extended family visits. Moving the rear wall of the house further into the backyard doubled the existing living room size of a 1940's era Levitt House. A fourteen foot tall cathedral ceiling with exposed cross beams gives the impression of a much larger space than exists. Careful study of the new living room's exterior massing created an appropriately scaled addition to the neighborhood.
